Alec Bradley is a pretty widely recognized name in the world of premium cigars. Most people assume it’s the name of the company’s founder, but that’s Alan Rubin, who named the brand after his sons Alec & Bradley. Little did he know when starting the company that his sons would join him and become second generation cigar makers. From humble beginnings, Alan grew Alec Bradley into a powerhouse of a brand. For Black market, they worked for over a year with special tobacco from Panama to create unique flavor of the blend. They created 18 different Panamanian blends, but after smoking the 3rd blending sample, they knew this was Black Market! The mystery of Panamanian tobacco and the crate like box in which Black Market is displayed illustrates this cigar’s journey.
