The Alec Bradley Prensado is a special blend for Alan Rubin. It was his second blend produced in the Raices Cubanas factory and the cigar that earned him Cigar Aficionado’s coveted Cigar of the Year award. While working in Honduras, he was introduced to a very dark wrapper leaf grown in a region of southern Honduras called Trojes and decided to build a cigar brand around it. He was amazed by its unique flavor, and it put his gears in motion. It was blended along with Honduran and Nicaraguan filler and binder leaves and pressed into a rectangular shape (hence the name Prensado). Tasting notes include flavors of cocoa, leather, and spice with notes of vanilla, cream and honey. This cigar is an absolute classic that has maintained its place in the market for years.
